Leipzig Bläser-Collegium (Brass Ensemble)

Founded: Leipzig, Germany

Leipzig Bläser-Collegium (= LBC) historically constitutes with cornets and trombones and reviving the great tradition of Leipzig City Pipers’ Guild directed in the 17^th and 18^th centuries by Johann Christoph Pezel and Gottfried Reiche, the trumpeter prized by J.S. Bach. When the need rises, the Leipzig Bläser-Collegium is called to reinforce the Pauliner Barockensemble.
