Kerstin Klein (Soprano)

The German soprano, Kerstin Klein, studied singing with Christina Wartenberg at the Musikhochschule in Leipzig. Since 1992 she has been a member of the choir of Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk, and she works as a voice teacher with the MDR Children’s choir.

As a soloist she has taken part in broadcasts and CD recordings with the MDR choir and ensemble Avant-garde. Her artistic work also includes programmes of Renaissance and Baroque music with the lutenist Carola Christoph.
