The Kellie Consort is Scotland’s only pre-professional Baroque Ensemble, dedicated to bringing sumptuous music to audiences across the country. The ensemble consists of outstandingly talented young singers and instrumentalists based in Scotland who wish to develop their skills in Baroque performance practice to the highest level. It takes its name from the Scottish composer Thomas Erskine, 6th Earl of Kellie (1732-1781).
