Kantorei der Pauluskirche Duisburg-Hochfeld (Choir)

Founded: 1949 - Duisburg-Hochfeld, Germany

Kantorei der Pauluskirche Duisburg-Hochfeld (= KPKDH) - for decades, this name is prominent church music of the area. Founded in 1949, the Kantorei under Henry Paul Reichardt (1956-1994) and Marcus Strümpe (1994-2007) has become an important organisation in Duisburg's cultural life.

That time has now come to an end: on April 15, 2007 Marcus Strümpe left his post as Kantor at the Pauluskirche. One day later, he joined as a successor to Uwe Maibaum his new job as a Kantor at the Salvatorkirche.
