The German baritone, Mirko Janiska, studied from 1997 to 2002 in Leipzig at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy". Already during his studies he sang various opera parts at his university (Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte) but also smaller parts at the opera house Leipzig. In the years 2002 until 2004 he was member of the “International Opera Studio Zürich” (Switzerland) where he had the chance to be on stage with famous opera stars. He also attended master-classes with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Hans Hotter, Reri Grist and Kurt Widmer. |
