Anna Hoard (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: March 19, ____ - Topeka, Kansas, USA

The American mezzo-soprano, Anna Louise Hoard, Anna is alumina of The University of Kansas School of Music, Seagle Music Colony, and the Cortona Sessions for New Music. She is currently pursuing a master's degree at the University of Missouri- Kansas City (UKMC) Conservatyory of Music and Dance.

Anna Hoard is a chamber musician and recording artist based in Kansas City, who specializes in sacred music, new music and their interconnections. She is a member of the Grammy-winning Kansas City Chorale, and a Black House Collective Resident Artist. Some of her favourite credits include La Malinché, Arnold Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire, and Cherubino in W.A. Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro. She currently lives in Kansas City, Missouri.
