The German soprano, Cordelia Hanus, received her first singing training in Meiningen with Ines Kurz-Margraf and came by encouragement to the Hochschule für Musik in Weimar. During her time there she received prizes in various youth singing competitions. She studied opera singing at the Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik in Leipzig with Mrs. Kern-Pöschl and privately with Mrs. Professor Maria Venuti. To get the diploma she came to Stuttgart, in order to continue her study at the Opera School with Professor Karl Richter. In 1995 she received scholarship of the Richard Wagner Federation. |
