Freiburger Kammerchor (Chamber Choir)

Founded: 1967 - Freiburg, Germany

Freiburger Kammerchor (Freiburg Chamber choir) was created in 1967 Klaus Hövelmann.

From the chamber ensemble developed soon a choir, which compiles both A-cappella-literature in small size and oratorios and other big works. Beside a trunk of singers with of many years of experience, students from all fields participate in the Freiburger Kammerchor, where they receive extensive training.

The Freiburger Kammerchor has made concert tours to various European countries and in the USA, Brazil, Egypt and New Zealand.
