Gregor Finke (Bass)

Born: Germany

The German bass, Gregor Finke, studied at the Hochschule in Essen and continued his studies with Peter Kooy and Max van Egmond at the Amsterdam Conservatory.

Gregor Finke regularly sings solo parts in Baroque operas, such as, Polifemo in George Frideric Handel's Acis and Galatea. In June 2004 he performed the part of Jesus in J.S. Bach’s Matthäus-Passion (BWV 244) conducted by Hermann Max at the Israel Festival Jerusalem.
