The American contralto, Emily Eyre, obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance from Birmingham-Southern College (1979-1983), and her Masters of Music degree in Vocal Performance from University of North Carolina at Greensboro (1983-1985).
Since 1979 Emily Eyre works as a free lance singer. From 1985 to 1991 she sang at Houston Grand Opera. Since 1991 she is a free lance singer on the New York City Music Scene. From 2002 to 2004 she appeared in the concert series of Berkshire Bach Society; from 2005 to 2010 in the cantata series Bach Vespers at Holy Trinty. |
