The Canadian pianist and piano teacher, Clara Després, studied at Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal, Université de Montréal, and obtained her Master of Music degree from Concordia University in Montréal.
Clara Després is an experienced pianist and teacher, with a career as a performer. In addition to working as a teacher and performer, she has given music therapy workshops. She is also a yoga teacher, so she brings to her teaching and approach to the instrument an awareness of body/mind consciousness. As a performer, she likes to make music accessible by giving short introductions to the pieces she plays, and by creating specific programs to fit particular occasions. She currently lives in Montréal. |
