Katharina Dellweg (Soprano)

Born: Germany

The German soprano (also pianist and organist), Katharina Dellweg, studied church music at RSH Düsseldorf, and has diploma of church musician.

Katharina Dellweg now serves as Kantorin at the Schloßkirche Eller. She occasionally appears as a soprano singer: in 2000 she took part in a performance of J.S. Bach's Matthäus-Passion (BWV 244) under the baton of Matthias Hoffmann-Borggrefe at the MatthäiMäuse, Düsseldorf; in February 2004 she sang M. Reger's Cantata Meinen Jesum laß ich nicht at the Evangelischen Gerresheim; in July 2004 she took part in a performance of J. Brahms' Zigeunerlieder at the Evangelische Lukaskirche in Lierenfeld.
