Aurélie Castagnol (Soprano)

Born: France

The French soiprano, Aurélie Castagnol, obtained her Master of Music degree, a DEM in singing in the class of Agnès Brosset and a DNSPM from the Haute École des Arts du Rhin. She is a regional finalist at the Concours Voix Nouvelles 2018.

Aurélie Castagnol is a member of Chœur de Chambre Mélisme(s) and the Choeurs de l’Opéra de Rennes under the direction of Gildas Pungier. She has sung many roles such as Lola in Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana (Linières), Boulotte in J. Offenbach's Barbe-Bleue (En Mesure 22), Le Feu, La Princesse and Le Rossignol in M. Ravel's l'Enfant et les Sortilèges (Académie d’Art Vocal), The First Lady in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte (Piccolo Opéra), Magda in Menotti's The Consul (A. Brosset), Venus in J.P. Rameau's Dardanus (A. Brosset).
