CantuS CorvinuS (Vocal Ensemble)

Founded: 1988 - Budapest, Hungary

The vocal ensemble CantuS CorvinuS of Hungary is one of the best representatives for the vocal music of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The main concern of the group is to open up the beauty and diversity of today's early music audiences authentic, yet comprehensible again. The ensemble has created through careful study of historical performance practice, a sound and the technique of time matched style. Due to the high technical and artistic skill of each ensemble member reached by the CantuS CorvinuS Vocal Music recited a dimension which, according to the Press, "thrilled the audience sink the magic of music can be." The ensemble is among the best Hungarian choirs and orchestras in the area of early music, and is in the front of ever-increasing repertoire in concerts, television and radio productions. Since 1993, the ensemble jas visited Austria, Italy, Germany and Denmark held about 100 concerts, put the ensemmble’s feet in the international music scene.
