Collegium Vocale Camerata (Chamber Choir)

Founded: Zuid-Scharwoude, the Netherlands

Collegium Vocale Camerata (= CVC) is a small but remarkable cantata choir from Zuid-Scharwoude and is directed by the conductor Gerard Leegwater.

For over 15 years, CVC performs almost every month a J.S. Bach's cantata in the Koogerkerk in Zuid-Scharwoude, along with a number of professional instrumentalists and soloists.

The CVC is consisted of skilled and experienced singers. A high musical level is being pursued. This stems from the great enthusiasm of the singers and an important part of the musical passion of conductor Gerard Leegwater.
