The German harpsichordist, Eleonore Bühler-Kestler, a pupil of Walther Körner, Kantor at the Lorenz Church in Nuremberg, was greatly influenced by his Karl Straube style. By the 1950's she had already completed the master-class for harpsichord with distinction.
Since finishing her studies, Eleonore Bühler-Kestler has been giving public performances both at home and abroad in the form of solo, chamber and full orchestra concerts and a host of radio recordings. Today she lives in Bayreuth, where she is a lecturer in music at the university. |
