The Russian bass baritone Andrey Akhmetov, studied at Школа 70 Scool in Tyumen (Class of 2003), Herzen University (РГПУ им. Герцена) in Saint Petersburg, and Hochschule für Musik Köln (since 2013).
In Russia, Andrey Akhmetov sang with State Academic Capella of St. Petersburg (September 2008-2011) and Prattica Terza Ensemble (Director: Nazar Kozhukhar) in St. Petersburg. In Germany, he sang with the Baroque Ensemble Ludus Instrumentalis (Director: Evgeni Sviridov), Chorus Musicus Köln (Director: Christoph Spering) and Gaechinger Cantorey (Director: Hans-Christoph Rademann). In June-July 2014, he sang the role of Nardo in W.A. Mozart's La finta giardiniera at Theater Aachen. He currently lives in Cologne, Germany. |
