The Italian conductor, Luigi Pagliarini, graduated in conducting, opera and clarinet. He specialized in conducting under the guidance of Daniele Gatti, Deyan Pavlov, Donato Renzetti, Otto Werner Müller, Colin Metters, John Farrer, Donald Thulean, Neil Thomson and Daniel Lewis.
Luigi Pagliarini has more than ten years of experience as conductor of choirs and orchestras, both in the classical and opera repertoire. He is currently the Musical Director of the Teatro Guardassoni in Bologna and director of the dell’Ensemble Adorn in Reggio Emilia, the Coro Estense of Montecchio Emilia and the Coro di Reggio Children.
As a singer Luigi Pagliarini stands out in the performance of the German repertoire and has performed with different formations (Concerto Italiano, Odhecaton, Athestis Chorus) under the guidance of important conductors such as Rinaldo Alessandrini, Paolo Da Col, Filippo Maria Bressan, Helmuth Rilling. He has recorded for the Tactus and Bongiovanni labels.
Clarinet teacher at the Scuola Secondaria di I grado “Andrea Balletti” di Quattro Castella (RE) since 2002, Luigi Pagliarini is the coordinator and musical director of the volunteered musical promotion project by the Fondazione I Teatri and the Provveditorato agli Studi di Reggio Emilia, as well as co-founder of the AdornoMusicaGiovani project. As part of the young audience's approach to art music, he arranged and directed Josef Rheinberger's Der arme Heinrich by, Engelbert Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel and stage music for Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt. He currently lives in Reggio Nell Emilia, Italy. |
