Klosterkirkens Vokalensemble (Chamber Choir)

Founded: Horsens, Denmark

The Klosterkirkens Vokalensemble is a choir with 20 singers. They sing 1-2 concerts a year, where they perform larger or smaller choral works in collaboration with professional musicians and soloists. In addition, the choir's repertoire originates primarily in the newer Danish and European a cappella repertoire, although with a few detours in the somewhat rhythmic and Baroque/Renaissance music. The have a tradition of holding a festive Christmas concert and a bubbly summer concert. Within the last year (2021-2022), the choir has thus, for example, participated in DR services and Elvis concert services.
