A significant part of the Kammer Sinfonie Bremen's activities involves performing on historical instruments: The highly motivated, historically informed instrumentalists of Concerto Bremen create a vibrant and dynamic sound. Musicians from all over Germany contribute to the Kammer Sinfonie Bremen's distinctive artistic profile: Their stylistically assured approach to musical literature from diverse eras, combined with a high degree of infectious enthusiasm, results in a captivating sound for the listener! The ensemble lives up to this special characteristic in both modern and historical performance practice. The orchestra's project-based activities have made a significant impact on the North German music scene, for example, the "Komponistennächten" (Composers' Nights) in Bremer Dom, conceived by Professor Wolfgang Helbich and broadcast live by Radio Bremen, which successfully showcased new concert formats. Over the past twenty-one years, the orchestra has toured extensively, including performances in France, Italy, the USA, and Japan. The long-standing collaboration with the Bremer Domchor and the Alsfelder Vokalensemble (Director: Wolfgang Helbich) has led to significant results for the orchestra, in addition to its symphonic activities. Numerous CD recordings and radio broadcasts further complement the orchestra's profile. |
