- Prelude (Andante) derives from WTC 1: Prelude & Fugue No. 4 in C sharp minor, BWV 849, transposed to D minor
- Choral (Grave) by J.S. Abert
- Fugue (Allegro) derives from Fantasia & Fugue in G minor ("Great"), BWV 542
Instrumentation: violin I and II, viola, violoncello, bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horns in F, trumpet, trombone, tuba, and tympani.
