Bilston and Battersea enamel box commemorating the Bach Choir; new in presentation case with certificate of origin. Wonderful item for any serious collector OR classical music lover.
Top of lid has detailed copperplate-style engraving of J.S. Bach. Interior of box has incredible black-and-white illustration of a pipe organ; interior of lid has calligraphic script: "The Bach Choir 1876-1976".
Lid opens smoothly and snaps shut firmly. Copper edges and rim have antique copper patina, not bright mirror finish of newer Halcyon Days boxes.

Measures:

* Oblong box is 2 inches long and 1-3/4 inches wide
* Box and presentation case together weigh 4 ounces.
