History & Mission:

The Project - Launched in March 2000, LES CANTATES is a tailor-made project. First it is deeply connected with the Paris Baroque music network, mixing young and more experienced musicians. Second, it is built around a wonderful organ in a small early 20th century temple. The instrument has been completely renewed in 2008 and has the most exquisite and genuine baroque German style one can dream of. One more special feature of the project is that the cantatas are performed according to their destination in the year. LES CANTATES take place on Sunday afternoon, at 5:30, for approximately 30 minutes, one cantata being perform with two organ pieces opening and closing the concert.
