The Lamb of God BachFest (Bach Festival) is an annual event held in the fall. The festival features music of the Baroque masters.
2006: Performers included Pamela King, Mezzo-Soprano; Rebecca Winston, Soprano; Dr. Sam Savage, Tenor; Dr. Kathy Winston Rabago, Piano; Christy Springer, clarinet & saxophone; a Piano Quartet featuring Alejandro Miranda, cello, Iris Messinger, viola, and Chris Winston, piano; Bryan Edwards and Becky Karner, trumpet; Lamb of God Lutheran Church's Chancel and Hand Bell Choirs . . . and more!
2009: The BachFest featured some of J.S. Bach's most recognizable works, including the 3rd Orchestral Suite, and Excerpts from the B Minor Mass (BWV 232).
2010: The program included: Dialogue Cantata, Selig ist der Mann - BWV 57; Toccata in F, BWV 545; Concerto for Organ, BWV 1052; Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring.
2014: The Bach Fesival was on hiatus as the consturction of a pipe orgran began in October. The next Festival event would be in fall 2015, featuring a Robert Site organ. |
