Sam Witmer (Baritone)

Born: January 1993 - Athens, Ohio, USA

The American baritone, Sam Witmer, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from Ohio University (2013-2016); and his Master of Music degree in Voice Performance and Literature from Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester (2016-2018).

Sam Witmer was Bass Section Leader at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd 45701 in Athens, Ohio (2013-2016); Bass Section Leader at Third Presbyterian Church in Rochester, New York (August 2016-May 2018); Baritone soloist in Eastman School of Music: Bach Cantata Series (BWV 150/BWV 78, October 2017).
At Eastman Opera Theatre, he sang the tole of Paul in Philip Glass' Les Enfants Terribles (February 2018). He is also Chorister at The Lancaster Chorale (since 2019).

Sam Witmer has been Adjunct Professor of Voice at Hocking College (since August 2019); and Adjunct Professor of Voice at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio (since 2019).
