The Brazilian tenor, Lucas Viana, began his musical experience as a member of the Coral Infanto Juvenil do Palácio das Artes. He studied piano with Professor Oscar Tibúrcio in the Extension course at the Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (UEMG) and is currently completing a bachelor's degree in piano with Professor Maurício Veloso at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). In 2019, he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree Conducting under the guidance of Iara Fricke Matte, at UFMG, where he also studied with Professors Charles Roussin and Lincoln Andrade.
Lucas Viana also works as a singer and is a member of Coro Sinfônico Concentus Musicum and Madrigal Concentus Musicum de Belo Horizonte, where he also collaborates as assistant conductor. |
