Ensemble TaCTuS (Percussion Ensemble)

Founded: 2011- Lyon, France

The Ensemble TaCTuS is a Lyon collective with variable geometry, composed of six dynamic and innovative percussionists.

Passionate about the transversality of arts and multidisciplinary projects, the Ensemble TaCTuS strives to open its aesthetic field by collaborating on each of its shows with another artistic discipline. With dance first and the NO PLAY HERO (2012) and DEMOCRACY (2013) shows respectively of choreographers Y. Pick and M. Le Pladec; The musical theater then with VISAGES by Quentin Dubois; Theater and literature with DEDALE(S) and comedian Jacques Bonnaffé (2015) or drawing with L'APPEL DE LA FORET (2016) and draftsman Marion Cluzel.

The Ensemble TaCTuS is also committed to contemporary creation, notably through comissions from emerging composers, as well as transmission and awareness by proposing numerous workshops and various pedagogical actions on the sidelines of its shows. Since its creation in 2011 at the TIPC festival in Taiwan, this atypical and inventive group has already performed on numerous French and international stages and festivals.
