The German contralto, Michaela Singendonk (Dobmeier), was born in Munich and grew up in a family of singers. Already in her youth she met in the choir of his father (church music director Karl Dobmeier) the great sacred works, learned them and soon took over solo tasks. She studied singing at the Hochschule für Musik in Graz and the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg. 1990, she gained scholarship of the Richard Wagner Association and sang during her studies title roles at the Neuburger Kammeroper and the Chiemgau-Festspielen. |
