Barockensemble Sans-Souci (Instrumental Baroque Ensemble)

Founded: 1997 - Munich, Germany

The Barockensemble Sans-Souci (Munich) was founded in 1997 and performs various chamber music on period instruments. Based on the works of the Baroque era, the ensemble plays in the last years Mozart's music and rarely heard music on instruments from the period of Viennese Classicism. The artistic concerns of the ensemble members is exhausted not only in a material-based on historical performance practice. Learning the music on period instruments, will be much more than a prerequisite for musical interpretation in its sonic diversity and in its stylistic inventiveness.
