Maike Raschke (Soprano)

Born: Germany

The German soprano, Maike Raschke, studied in Hannover and Berlin.

Maike Raschke made her debut at the Internationalen Opernstudio der Oper Köln, as Stella in Hoffmann's Erzählungen, followed by roles such as Tebaldo in Don Carlo and Papagena in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. She also appeared in the scenic world premiere of Stockhausen's Sonntag aus Licht. Guest engagements have led her to the Aalto Theater Essen, Theater Hagen, Komische Oper Berlin as well as to the Ruhrtriennale, Wiener Festwochen and Potsdam Winteroper. At Theater Dortmund, she was already seen as Amore and Damigella in L'Incoronazione di Poppea, (December 2012-January 2013), as Hirte (shepherd)) in Tannhäuser and as the voice of heaven in Don Carlo. (September-December 2013), Papagena in Die Zauberflöte (November 2016-April 2017). She sang Ida in Die Fledermaus at Oper Köln (November-December 2017).
