Kaija Nuoranne (Soprano)

Born: Finland

The Finnish lyrical-dramatic soprano and singing teacher, Kaija Nuoranne, graduated in singing and piano from the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. After her years of study, she initially worked as a piano teacher before singing really took her to heart.

Since then Kaija Nuoranne can be seen in opera and operetta roles (e.g. Puccini: Suor Angelica, Lehár: The Die lustige Witwe), gives Lieder and solo concerts and has, among others, a. participated in premieres of church music works. She has also made a name for herself with staged concerts in which poetry and drama play a special role. Her versatile repertoire ranges from classical to the latest music - from W.A. Mozart to Weill, from Sibelius to Finnish tango. She was a member of the Ring Ensemble of Finland.

Kaija Nuoranne is also a passionate pedagogue: after 11 years of teaching at the Sibelius Academy and in her own vocal studio, she is now practicing in the Rhineland. In addition to teaching at two music schools, she offers voice training and stage presence workshops both in the greater Düsseldorf area and in Finland. She currently lives in Düsseldorf, Germany.
