Lucretia Lendi (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: Switzerland

The Swiss mezzo-soprano, Lucretia Lendi, had begun her singing training at the Konservatorium Winterthur and continued at the Musikhochschule Berlin and the Musikhochschule Frankfurt am Main. After the stage maturity examination followed further studies in Italy and with Dennis Hall in Bern.

The emphasis of Lucretia Lendi's work as a singer lies in the concert range, where her extensive repertoire extends from the Baroque to the modern times. Her stage activity has led her to the theatres of Bari, Genoa, Verona, Liège, and Paris and to the Rossini-Opera-festival, where she could be heard in important roles.
