Founded in 2008 by Dominik Wörner, the Kirchheimer BachConsort is composed of leading musicians from the early music scene who perform in a soloistic formation, concentrating on and performing programs from the repertoire of the 18th century. The members, who come from many different countries, bring a wealth of experience from their collaboration with renowned international ensembles of historical performance practice. The repertoire depends on the repertoire to be played. Credo of the original sound ensemble is a sensitively balanced balance between soloistic and chamber music, the harmonious breathing sound is the target. The ideal sound ratio between singers and instrumentalists, the excellent harmony and the tremendously exciting and brilliant musicians are unanimously praised by the press. Meanwhile, concert recordings for Deutschlandradio Kultur and the SWR document the work of the musical ambassador of the Kirchheimer Konzertwinter. |
