The German tenor, Dirk Holger Eisold, was a member of the Dresdner Kreuzchor from 1983 (that is, from the 3rd grade) to 1992 (high school). After graduating from school, he worked in Hamburg, where he first worked in a rehab hospital and later in an integrative home for people with disabilities. In the spring of 1995 followed a nursing internship in a psychiatric clinic. In the autumn of the same year he began his studies in social pedagogy and social work at the Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden). He was a member of the Dresdner Kammerchor (Chorus Master: Hans-Christoph Rademann) and the vocal quartet Gentle Four together with Friedemann Hoyer (Tenor), Georg Preißler (Baritone) and Georg Finger (Bass). Later they became Gentle Five when the tenor Friedemann Condé joined them.
In addition to the the Dresdner Vocal Quartett, Dirk Eisold sings in several other ensembles, for example in the Kammerchor Cantamus Dresden, with friends in Madrigalkreis, and from time to time in a-cappella programs and choral symphonic works in other choirs. |
