Kevin Conners (Tenor)

Born: East Rochester, New York, USA

The American tenor, Kevin Conners, studied at the Eastman School of Music in New York and at the Salzburg Mozarteum.

Since 1998, Kevin Conners was a member of the Opera Studio; since 1990, he has been permanent ensemble member of the Bayerischen Staatsoper. He is dedicated to the intense concert and Lieder singing, numerous guest engagements have led him to performances at home and abroad. In 1995, he made his debut at Milan's La Scala as Monostatos in Die Zauberflöte. Since 2005 he is a Bavarian Kammersänger. Among his roles at the Bayerische Staatsoper in 2008-2009 season: Pedrillo (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Steuermann (Der fliegende Holländer), Andres (Wozzeck), Theophilus/2. Meister/4. Kapellsänger (Palestrina), Brighella (Ariadne auf Naxos).
