Angelica Buzzolan (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: May 13, 1969 - Turin (Torino), Italy

The Italian mezzo-soprano, Angelica Buzzolan, began her musical studies at the Conservatorio di Torino dedicating herself to the study of cello in the class of Renzo Brancaleon. 6 years later she graduated in singing with Luisella Ciaffi, also at the Conservatorio di Torino. In 1995 he graduated from the Scuola del Teatro Stabile di Torino directed by Luca Ronconi. In 1997, she won the Concorsi di Savigliano Internazionale di Rovereto and Concorso Iinternazionale As.Li.Co. In 2003, she he won the Competition for artists of the Coro del Teatro Regio di Torino.

Angelica Buzzolan made her debut as a soloist in Don Quixote by Massenet, Die Zauberflöte and Le nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart and in Le Comte Ory by Rossini. She is a member of the Ensemble Cameristico di Torino, of the Coro del Teatro Regio di Torino, and has been a member of the Compagnia dei Giovani del Teatro Stabile. Since 1990, she he has also collaborated as cellist and singer with the theater company "Envers Teatro" di Aosta directed by Valeriano Gialli. She currently lives in Turin, Italy. In 1996, she sang at the Piccolo Regio di Torino in the show Omaggio a Garcia Lorca. As part of Settembre Musica she sang as a soloist in Mass in C minor by W.A. Mozart directed by Alberto Peyretti with whom she then collaborated in 1997 in the Walpurgisnacht of Felix Mendelssohn and in 1998 in the Judicium Salomonis by Carissimi.
