The American tenor and flautist, Andreas Tischhauser, holds degrees from Wichita State University (Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance; also studied Flute Performance: 1984-1990), Florida State University (Master of Music degree: 1990-1992; DM degree in Music Perfromance and Arts Management: 1995-2007), University of Colorado-Boulder (Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance & Pedagogy: 2003-2006), and University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (DM degree in Flute Performance: 1994-1995).
Andreas Tischhauser has worked onstage and behind the scenes for a variety of arts organizations wearing every kind of hat under the sun, including as a tenor with Santa Fe Opera, Santa Fe Pro Musica, principle flute of the San Juan and Santa Fe symphonies, as well as Executive Director of the Santa Fe Desert Chorale (June 2010-December 2013) and Arts Administrator with the esteemed vocal ensemble Chanticleer (October 2014-July 2016). He was also Instructor of Voice at Santa Fe University of Art and Design (January 2011-August 2014). Currently he is Senior Director Of Development CFR and Major Gifts at Fort Lewis College in Durango (since July 2016). He currently lives in Durango, Colorado. |
