Clifton Steere (Tenor)

Born: Tacoma, Washington, USA

The American tenor, Clifton Steere, obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington. Since 1956 he was a Special Student at Juilliard School of Music in New York in the class of Dolf Swing, and obtained there his Master of Music degree..

Clifton Steere edtablished himself in New York through solo appearances with the New York Choral Soiciety, ther New York Opera Theater, and the Robert Shaw Chorale. He performed extensively in the USA and the Far East. A tour with the Soul Symphony Orhestra resulted in his being awarded a commemorative a plaque for his performance by the Korean Governmemt.
