Hanswolf Scriba (Choral Conductor, Organ)

Born: July 9, 1927 - Wehlen, Saxony, Germany
Died: November 17, 2008 - Mainz, Hesse, Germany

The German church musician, Kantor, choral conductor and organist, Hanswolf Scriba, founded the Johanniskantorei in Mainz in 1957. The choir has been under the artistic direction until 1991, when he was succeeded by Volker Ellenberger.
