The Chilean lyric baritone singer, crooner and pianist, Rodrigo Quinteros Toro, studied music education (license) at Universidad de Playa Ancha; and piano at Conservatorio Izidor Handler.
Rodrigo Quinteros performs in concerts, operas, and television productions in theaters across the country. His repertoire features classical works by W.A. Mozart, Rossini, Georges Bizet, and Bixio, as well as popular songs in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
His operatic performances have include: Prospero Salzapariglia in Le Convenienze Teatrali at Teatro Municipal de Las Condes, Santiago (May 2016); Barón Douphol in La Traviata at Municipal de Santiago - Ópera Nacional de Chile (August 2016); Guglielmo in W.A. Mozart's Cosi fan Tutte at Teatro Municipal de Temuco in Araucanía Region (October 2017); W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte at Teatro Municipal de Temuco (November 2018) and at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (December 2022); Escamillo (Toreador) in G. Bizet's Carmen at Teatro Municipal de las Condes (August 2019); the comic cantata Il Maestro di Cappella with Orquesta clásica del Maule, conducted by Maestro Francisco Rettig at Teatro Regional del Maule (August 2019); Dancairo in Carmen at Municipal de Santiago - Ópera Nacional de Chile (July 2023).
Rodrigo Quinteros has sung as a crooner in the "Noche de Boleros" with Orquesta Filarmónica de Temuco at the Teatro municipal de Temuco (December 2018) and at the Museo Ferroviario de la ciudad de Temuco (February 2019); in the concert "La Pergola Clásica"at Teatro Regional del Maule (November 2020); in the concert "Cantando de África a América" at Corporacion Cultural de Vitacura in Santiago (December 2022); in the French concert "La vie n rose" at Teatro Municipal de Temuco (December 2022, February 2023); in the concert Noche de Boleros" at Centro cultural Leopoldo Silva in Quillota, Valparaiso Region (February 2023).
Rodrigo Quinteros performed as harpsichordist, organist, oianist and singer at the Universidad Viña del Mar (2011-August 2023). He has also participated in the Bach Santiago Cantata Series (since 2026). He currently lives in Villa Alemana, Chile. |
