Eric Peterson (Tenor)

Born: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

The Australian tenor, Eric Peterson, has been singing in ensembles since the age of eight, beginning as a chorister at St Andrew’s Cathedral Sydney. He later went on to become a Lay Clerk in the cathedral choir, Deputy Organist and conductor of the Cathedral Singers while studying the organ at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Eric Peterson has pursued a dual career as management consultant and musician - when not advising business on digital and customer strategies, he sings as a Lay Clerk at St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney. He has also performed extensively with some of Sydney’s leading ensembles, including Pinchgut Opera, Cantillation, Australian Brandenburg Choir, Bach Akademie Australia (Director: Madeleine Easton), and the Choir of St James’ King St. He currently lives in Sydney.
