The American tenor and choral conductor, James Mauk (Jake Mauk), obtained his Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education from East Carolina University under Dr. Daniel Shirley (2009-2014); and his Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Missouri State University (2014-2016).
James Mauk has been Graduate Assistant at Missouri State University; Associate Choir Director at Lee's Summit High School in Lees Summit, Missouri (August 2016-May 2018); Graduate Assistant at East Carolina University (August 2018-2019); Tenor Soloist at Grace Episcopal Church in Madison, Wisconsin (September 2019-2021); Teaching artist at Wausau Conservatory of Music (February 2020-2021); and Minister of Music at Lakeside Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina (since July 2022). He currently lives in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. |
