The American baritone singer, arts administrator, advisor and educator, Samuel Krall, studied Classical Guitar Major at Interlochen Arts Academy (2005-2006); ontained his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal and Guitar Performance with Arts Leadership Certificate at Eastman School of Music, Universty of Rochester (2006-2010); attended Essentials of Orchestral Management Certificate Program of League of American Orchestras (2012); obtained his Master of Arts degree in Arts Leadership Administration from Syracuse University (2014-2015). Studies at Newhouse School of Communications, Maxwell School of Citizenship, and Whitman School of Management. Tailored course load to emphasize arts entrepreneurship and audience development research; including several focused independent studies with nationally recognized faculty.
Samuel Krall has been Professional Classical Vocalist (Baritone) and Guitarist since September 2006. Vocal performances including: Baritone Soloist of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem with Syracuse Vocal Ensemble (2016); Sir Thomas Morton in Hanson’s Merry Mount with Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra at Carnegie Hall (2014); Guitarist for Radcliff’s Mice and Beans with Rochester Lyric Oper (2013); The King in Portland’s The Little Prince with Bufflao-based Opera Sacra (2013); Narrator in Smith’s The Orchestra Games with Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (2012); Serving as Cantor and Ensemble Singer with Tulsa's St. John's Chamber Singers; Section singer with the Oklahoma Bach Choir. Guitar performances includingL recital appearances in Kilbourn Hall, the George Eastman House, Cary Ratcliff's Mice and Beans opera, and in Taize services in Tulsa's Trinity Episcopal church. Continued engagements as a private guitar and voice instructor.
