The English-born German baritone, Sebastian Kitzinger, received his first singing lessons with the Aurelius Sängerknaben Calw. He studied singing at the Folkwang Hochschule Essen and at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main, where he graduated in 2007.
Early on Sebastian Kitzinger gained stage experience as the third boy in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte in Mannheim. in the Ensemble and as a soloist he sang already at the DOR Düsseldorf/Duisburg, Oper Frankfurt, Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Stadttheater Gießen and the Schlossfestspiele Sondershausen. He was also a member of the Internationalen Opernstudios am Staatstheater Nürnberg, and he also performed at the Ludwigsburger Festspielen.
Since 2010 Sebastian Kitzinger has been a member of the ensemble of the Opernwerkstatt am Rhein and the Kammeroper Frankfurt, where in the summer of 2010 samg the role of Herrn Fluth in O. Nicolai's Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor.
Sebastian Kitzinger's activity in the oratorio field has already led him to different parts Germany and Europe, working together with conductors such as Winfried Toll, Wolfgang Schäfer, Christoph Spering and Ralf Otto. He currently lives in Frankfurt, Germany. |
