The American soprano, Katie Kelley, obtained her Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from the University of Washington (UW), where she was a student of Tom Harper (2015-2017). While at UW, she performed the titular role of Cavalli's La Calisto and appeared as Suor Infermiera in Suor Angelica and as Orphee in Gluck's Orphee et Eurydice.
Recent professional appearances include premiering the role of Judith in Red Lake, a production of Deseret Experimental Opera Company in Salt Lake City (2016), and singing in the chorus of W.A. Mozart's Cosi fan Tutte with City Opera Ballet in Bellevue. She made her directorial debut in May 2019 with Lowbrow Opera Collective's production of #adulting. She currently lives in Seattle, Washington. |
