The Swiss lyric tenor and lawyer, David Keller, studied singing and piano at the Konservatorium und Universität Zürich and perfected his skills for a year in the international Opernstudio Basel/Biel. His singing teacher was the Bernese soprano Barbara Martig-Teller.

After his musical studies, David Keller initially initially sang oratorios and festive concerts. From 1995 he was a member of the Chores der Deutsche Oper Berlin for two years, before he began singing the lyric tenor as a soloist at various theaters in Switzerland and Germany.
