Kantorei Iserbrook (Choir)

Founded: Iserbrook, Germany

The Kantorei Iserbrook consists of 56 members. This mixed choir meets once a week at the Martin-Luther-Kirchengemeinde in in Hamburg-Iserbrook.

The repertoire of the Kantorei Iserbrook under its current director Michael Matthiass includes: George Frideric Handel's Messias (1996, 2004), Kurt Fiebig's Markus-Passion (1998), Mozart's Requiem (1999), J.S.Bach's Weihnachts-Oratorium (BWV 248) (2000), J.S. Bach's Johannes-Passion (BWV 245) (2002), Johannes Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem, as well as Motets, Passion music and other vocal works by Melchior Franck, Antonio Vivaldi, Felix Mendelssohn, J. Brahms, Dietrich Buxtehude, Rudolf Mauersberger, Leonard Lechner, Franz Liszt, Antonio Lotti, Igor Stravinsky, Heinrich Schütz, K. Fiebig, Bruckner, etc.
