Jonathan Hatley is a conductor, educator, and performer from Tulsa, Oklahoma and holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Texas Christian University and a Master's degree in Choral Conducting with Distinction from the University of Birmingham, England.
Jonathan Hatley has worked alongside and studied under many of today's leading conductors and scholars including Dennis Shrock, Simon Halsey, Bob Chilcott, Simon Carrington, Daniel Hyde, and Neil Ferris. He currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas where he works as a teacher and performer. Previous professional appointments have been at the University of Cambridge’s Faculty of Music, the choirs of Tenebrae and St John’s College, Cambridge, and conducting appointments for choirs such as the City of Birmingham Symphony Chorus, the Orwell Singers, and freelance projects at the University of Cambridge. Recent works he has conducted include George Frideric Handel's La Resurrezione, Benjamin Britten's St Nicolas, and multiple concerts of J.S. Bach Motets, Mass in B minor BWV 232 and Missa brevis in G minor, BWV 235. |
