Kyoung-Soung Han (Soprano)

Born: Seoul, South Korea

The Korean soprano, Kyung-Soung Han (Korean: 한경성), who has a classy tone and excellent musical skills, went through Seonhwa Arts Middle School and High School, and after graduating from the Department of Vocal Music at the Korea National University of Arts, read through them and graduated from the Karlsruhe National Conservatory of Music, Diplom, Lit and Best Performer course, Daniel Fueter, Udo Reinemann, Ralf Gothoni, Anne le Bozec, Irina Puryshinskaja, Wolfgang Rhim, etc. have participated in a number of master-classes and have continued her academic career. She studied with Professor Hyun-soo Choi in Korea and Donald Litaker, Hartmut Höll, and Mitsuko Shirai abroad.

With her excellent interpretive skills and musicality, Kyung-Soung Han first won the Music Journal Competition, 1st Prize at the Music Spring/Autumn Competition, 1st Prize at the Italian Song Competition, and the Rheinsberg Opera Competition in Germany.She sang the role of Despina in W.A. Mozart's Così fan tutte, then Pamina and Papagena in W.A. Mozart's opera Die Zauberflote, Fiordiligi in Cosi fan Tutte hosted by Seoul Metropolitan Opera, the opera Rusalka hosted by Rheinsberg Music Festival, Opera Gala hosted by the National Opera. She has appeared in numerous operas and gala concerts, including concerts, and has received favorable reviews from the audience and critics. She also cemented her professional performance as a soloist in numerous oratorios including W.A. Mozart's Missa-C Dur and Antonio Vivaldi's Missa-D moll, Johannes Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem and George Frideric Handel's Messiah'.

In addition, Kyung-Soung Han has performed with Seoul Symphony and Korean Symphony at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall, and performed with Hartmut Holl at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, Gustav Mahler Symphony No. 3 and L.v. Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, and the Rheingau Music Festival. She has performed various musical activities, and has presented the best performances based on her musicality, including holding dozens of German and French chanson recitals with Daniel Fueter and Markus Hadulla in Europe and other countries.

Kyung-Soung Han is currently teaching at Gracias Music School and Korea National University of Arts, and is passionate about nurturing the younger generation.
