The Spanish conductor and mezzo-soprano singer, María Gil Muñoz, studied flute at the Conservatory of Music of Getafe in Madrid, Spain and musical conducting at the Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music (RCSMM). Currently, she receives singing lessons from Bridget Clark. She is also interested in musical composition.
María Gil Muñoz gives music lessons, conducts school choirs and sings with the National Choir of Spain (CNE). She was a singer in Tenso Europe Chamber Choir in 2016, also sings as alto with Vlaams Radiokoor (Director: Bart Van Reyn) and Choeur de Chambre de Namur (Director: Jean Tubéry); and as mezzo-soprano in the Baroque group “Scuola del Sospir” (Director: Asís Marquez). |
